Sessions Details 9:15am - 9:30am Meet at Outdoorium. We'll start by having a welcoming nature based story in the Cafe so they can settle with the comfort of your company. 9:30am - 10:30am We'll then go out into Priory Park to the Philosophers Garden and do 2 nature based activities. 10:45am - 11:15am Focus group session inspired by the seasons. Utilising collected items from our Forest school session for some seasonal crafting! 11:15am - 11:30am Settling story before lunch 11:30am - 12:00pm Home cooked organic vegetarian lunch which changes with the seasons. Feel free to ask about whats on the menu. 12:00pm - 12:45pm Free play in our creatively crafted space with a mini theatre, fancy dress clothes for a mixture of ages and multiple instruments for them to explore. 12:45pm - 1:15pm Group circle time which will vary from musical moments to story telling exercises. 1:15pm - 1:30pm Closing circle and reflection on the day, which you're welcome to join for. --- What to bring! Even is the sun is shining we recommend kids come in outdoor clothing. Please pack a water bottle. & Thats it! A little bit about our outdoor teacher.. Molly our practitioner opened her first outdoor learning centre 5 years ago, it's situated on 11acres of land and operates out of a poly-tunnel, woodland and field. It's still running today and operates as a forest school and home ed ecology club. She's worked with kids & adults in nature for the past 8 years and is first aid trained, specifically, Forest School Paediatric First Aid trained. Her background is in herbalism, theatre and education which is a wild and winning combination for creatively inspiring people and guiding them to interact with the outdoors in a fun, yet considerate, way. Our ratio for this age group is 1:6, meaning 1 adult to every 6 kids.
